Use Thanksgiving To Improve Your Marriage

by mike on November 25, 2010

Mandy and I’s upcoming podcast is about resolving conflict. I decided not to write about that today, though. Being that it is Thanksgiving and all, I thought it more appropriate to reflect. I encourage you to use Thanksgiving as a time to truly think about why you are thankful for your spouse. There was some reason or another that made you fall in love with them in the first place. You may have been fighting alot lately about money, kids, or whatever. It is easy to let life get in the way of your love for each other. Instead, focus on the 2-3 things you are thankful for in regards to your spouse. When you concentrate on that, it will help keep the other junk in perspective.

Thanks for the reminder, Mike. I’m thankful for my wife because she makes me a better person. I love serving her and can’t picture it any other way.

Thanks for all you guys do!

No problem Justin. I am thankful for Mandy because of all she does to improve the lives of everyone in our family. I also second the making me a better person thing. If you can find someone that does that, you will be well on your way to a successful marriage!
